Zinc Gold Passivate.

Most common zinc plating used in automotive parts finishing. Retains a good average level of corrosion resistance.

Blue or Clear Zinc.

Though clear zinc, often it is referred to as blue as it can result in a blue-ish hue. More environmentally friendly. Lower corrosion resistance compared to other zinc plating.

Black Zinc

Black oxide coating or dye over the surface of zinc / formulations that are actually black plated referred to as black zinc. Lower corrosion resistance than gold zinc. Better corrosion resistance than clear passivate.

Bright Finish

Most common zinc plating used in automotive parts finishing. Retains a good average level of corrosion resistance.lasting protection and finish as the finish varies from a bright Silver to Blue tint depending upon the process times

Dull Finish

Most common zinc plating used in automotive parts finishing. Retains a good average level of corrosion resistance. Thicker than a bright shiny coating will offer a longer service life.
